Botox and other similar products like Jeuveau and Dysport, are safe and effective treatment for wrinkles on the face, especially those between the eyebrows (called the “11’s”), on the forehead, and around the eyes (“crow’s feet”). Toxin treatments are quick procedures that yield very little downtime and few side effects for both men and women. Treatment results typically last three months.

Fillers are injectable medications that help restore a youthful look to the face. They can be used to enhance lips and cheeks and fill in wrinkles on the face. The most commonly used fillers contain Hyaluronic acid (HA) which is a naturally occurring substance in the skin that helps add volume and plump facial wrinkles and folds, tear troughs and other problem areas. Results from these treatments can last 6-18 months. The different fillers we offer include Restylane, Radiesse, Juvederm, Belotero, Voluma, and Kybella.

Acne is characterized by open/closed comedones, papules/pustules and, in severe cases, cysts, which can result in scarring. Chemical peels can help reduce scarring and discoloration, and also improve existing acne. Platelet rich plasma (or PRP) is a safe and effective way to stimulate hair growth. It begins with a blood draw from the patient’s arm, which is then spun down to separate the plasma from the red blood cells. The plasma is then injected into the patient’s scalp to stimulate hair growth. There are very few side effects and minimal downtime. Sclerotherapy is an injection procedure that treats small varicose veins and spider veins by irritating the vein walls causing them to close. The number of injections and treatments varies depending on the amount of veins to treat and the desired outcome. Bruising and hyperpigmentation occur after treatment and fade over the course of weeks to months.

There are many types of benign lesions including brown spots (called lentigo), skin tags, keratoses, and milia. Many of these can be removed cosmetically with procedures including cryotherapy and laser therapy. Make an appointment to see if these procedures may be right for you.
